Outrage in Morocco as 17-year old girl alleges kidnap, rape, torture

A Moroccan teenager has aroused emotions and sparked outrage after alleging kidnap, rape and torture by some fifteen individuals for two months in Oulad Ayyad, in the administrative region of Morroco.

“They sequestrated me for almost two months, raped and tortured, I will never forgive them, they destroyed me,” she said on a video where she shows gritty tattoos and traces of burning cigarettes on her body.

Her lawyer, Brahim Hachane says doctors who examined her have said her plight was worrying.

Morocco to Malawi: Madonna’s Africa-centered 60th birthday

Top United States pop star, Madonna celebrated her sixtieth birthday with a huge African theme from Marrakesh to Malawi.

The actress, director and writer on Thursday shared photos of her wearing a headdress with the inscription “Queen.” She disclosed her location as the Moroccan city of Marrakesh.

Madonna currently has has six children, four of whom she adopted from Malawi, the most recent were a pair of twin girls.

As part of her “love” relationship with the southern African state, she has launched a fund raiser hoping to get $300,000 for her charity work in the country.
